Outcome: RAPS (of which Restio previously formed part) with lead consultant DECON developed a comprehensive project design document for an off-grid electrification project in rural Eastern Cape province (20 million Euros). Restio Energy conducted a socio-economic baseline study in the North West and Eastern Cape provinces. In addition to survey analysis, we also identified off-grid areas, taking into account grid planning. The information fed into the contract documentation used by the bidding organisations.
