2016, Client: Sanedi, South Africa: Assessment of the viability and implementation options for renewable energy technologies in rural and low income urban areas. Client is the South African National Energy Development Institute (SANEDI).

2015-2016,Client:  GVEP-International, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya & Rwanda: Undertook terminal evaluation of the ‘Capital Access Renewable Energy’ (CARE2) project in Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya & Rwanda on behalf of GVEP-I. The project focuses on promoting access to capital for MSMEs in the region.

2016, Client: EU (SE4All/TAF), South Africa: Currently project manager on a European Union (SE4All/TAF) funded initiative offering technical assistance to South Africa’s Department of Energy & Eskom for the establishment of a non-grid energy authority within the country.

2015-2017, Client: University College London, South Africa, Lesotho : Currently, in partnership with University College London, developing toolkits and field guides supporting      the successful establishment of thermal energy service delivery models in rural areas. Project known as the Sustainable Thermal Energy Programme funded by DFID and others

2015-2016, Department of Environmental Affairs, South Africa: Lead researcher on a commissioned study investigating the sustainability of decentralized renewable energy systems in South Africa. The research was contracted by the Department of Environmental Affairs (South Africa) and funded by DFID.

2015, Client: SouthSouthNorth, South Africa & Mozambique : Worked with SouthSouthNorth on a project definition document for DFID looking at energy access market based opportunities in Mozambique
